University of Waterloo - Suncor Emerging Leaders Awards in Engineering 2026

The University of Waterloo in partnership with Suncor provides the Emerging Leaders Awards in Engineering for the year 2026. This scholarship targets students pursuing their undergraduate studies in the fields of Chemical, Civil, Environmental, and Mechanical Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be entering the first year of specified Engineering programs or the first year of the Science and Business program, or the second year of an Earth Sciences program.

Selection Criteria

Selection is based on academic merit, performance on the Admission Information Form (AIF), and an online interview.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship offers partial funding up to CAD 10,000. It is payable over four years for most programs, except for Earth Sciences where it is payable over the last three years of the program.
