The Autism Scholars Awards at the University of Toronto, set for 2026, are designed to support Canadian nationals pursuing Masters or PhD degrees in various subjects offered by the university. This initiative aims to foster a high standard of research excellence in autism studies.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be full-time students in a master’s or doctoral program at an Ontario university at the start of the award period and must maintain full-time status throughout the award.
• Eligibility extends until the end of the sixth term for master’s students and the 15th term for doctoral students.
• Recipients cannot hold any other substantial financial award (over $20,000) concurrently.

Scholarship Benefits

This scholarship provides partial funding with awards of CAD 18,000 for Masters students and CAD 20,000 for PhD students. This financial support aims to enhance the research capabilities in the field of autism.
