Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Undergraduate Research Awards, applicants must:
- Be registered in a bachelor’s degree program at an eligible university as of the application deadline on January 9, 2026.
- Have a cumulative average of at least B- (70 percent or 2.7 grade points).
- Have completed at least one full year of university coursework by May 2026.
- Receive an endorsement from the Project Supervisor listed on the application form.
Research Opportunities
Successful applicants will conduct full-time research for 12-16 months under the supervision of a professor from one of the following faculties:

- Faculty of Education
- Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science
- Faculty of Health Sciences
- Faculty of Science
- Faculty of Social Science and Humanities
