Undergraduate Research Awards at Ontario Tech University 2026

The Undergraduate Research Awards at Ontario Tech University are designed to support bachelor's degree students in various academic fields. This scholarship provides partial funding up to CAD 6,000 and is open to students of all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Undergraduate Research Awards, applicants must:

• Be registered in a bachelor’s degree program at an eligible university as of the application deadline on January 9, 2026.
• Have a cumulative average of at least B- (70 percent or 2.7 grade points).
• Have completed at least one full year of university coursework by May 2026.
• Receive an endorsement from the Project Supervisor listed on the application form.

Research Opportunities

Successful applicants will conduct full-time research for 12-16 months under the supervision of a professor from one of the following faculties:

• Faculty of Business and IT
• Faculty of Education
• Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science
• Faculty of Health Sciences
• Faculty of Science
• Faculty of Social Science and Humanities
