STEM Community Outreach Scholarship at East Tennessee State University 2026

The STEM Community Outreach Scholarship is designed for new, first-time out-of-state undergraduate students, including international students, who are pursuing degrees in Computing, Geosciences, Mathematics, or Physics at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). This scholarship provides significant financial support to help cover out-of-state tuition costs.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be new, first-time ETSU out-of-state undergraduate students.
• Applicants must be majoring in Computing, Geosciences, Mathematics, or Physics.
• First-time freshmen should have a high school GPA of at least 3.2, a Math ACT score of 25, and an English ACT score of 21.
• First-time transfer students should have a college GPA of at least 3.0.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship awards partial funding, approximately USD 19,000 per year, equivalent to the out-of-state tuition fee. This financial support is aimed at easing the burden of educational expenses for eligible students.
