Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Volkswagen Foundation - Lichtenberg Professorships in Germany, 2024:

• Open to highly qualified young scientists from all disciplines.
• Applicants must have completed their doctorate within the past four to seven years, depending on the professorship level.
• Previous international experience is required.

Application Requirements

• Cover letter including the proposed recipient of funds.
• Project outline in English and German (max one page).
• Detailed project description (max 12 pages) including objectives, innovation potential, and methods.
