International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship at University of Leicester 2026

The International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship is designed for international students aiming to pursue a Bachelor's degree at the University of Leicester. This scholarship excludes courses in medicine, LLB Maitrise, and certain foundation and year 1 courses.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be classified as an international student for fee purposes.
• Must be applying for or progressing onto a full-time, campus-based undergraduate program starting September 2026.
• Should demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, typically two grades above the standard UK A-level entry requirement for the chosen course.
• Must meet or exceed the grades required in an international qualification equivalent to British A-levels.
• Must fulfill all conditions stated in the offer letter, if holding a conditional offer.

Scholarship Benefits

• Annual tuition fee discount of GBP 5,000.
• The scholarship amount is applied to the standard tuition fee for each year of study.
