John L Paterson Postgraduate Design Scholarship at University of Edinburgh 2025

The John L Paterson Postgraduate Design Scholarship is designed for students pursuing a Masters degree in Design for Change or Craft at the University of Edinburgh. This scholarship is generously provided by the University of Edinburgh and is open to students of all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must apply for full-time postgraduate taught study for the 2026–2027 academic year.
• Programs eligible: MA Design for Change, MA Craft.
• Applicants should have UK or Overseas fee status.
• Expected to hold a UK First-Class or 2:1 Honours degree, or international equivalent.
• Application for admission must be fully completed by March 23, 2026.
• Applicants should not hold full funding from any other University of Edinburgh or Research Council source.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship provides partial funding of £8,000 for one academic year, which is first applied towards tuition fees, with any remainder going towards living costs.
