Jean Kennoway Howells Scholarship at University of Edinburgh 2026

The Jean Kennoway Howells Scholarship is designed for students pursuing a Master's degree in Music at the University of Edinburgh. This scholarship significantly reduces financial burdens by offering a GBP 15,000 tuition fee reduction.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be new to the University of Edinburgh.
• Must apply for a full-time postgraduate taught Master’s program in the Reid School of Music.
• Should commence studies in the 2026–2027 academic year.
• Must hold, or expect to obtain, at least a UK First-Class or 2:1 Honours degree, or its international equivalent.
• Complete the Master’s program application by March 23, 2026.
• Submit the scholarship application by the deadline of April 6, 2026.
• Cannot hold any other ECA or University of Edinburgh scholarships concurrently.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship covers the tuition fees up to GBP 15,000 for one academic year. Any remaining balance after tuition fees will be allocated towards living expenses.

Application Process
