The Griffin Trust for Excellence in Poetry Scholarship is designed for students pursuing a Masters degree in Fine Art in Creative Writing at the University of Guelph. This scholarship provides partial funding amounting to CAD 2,500 and is open to students of all nationalities.

Selection Criteria

Selection for the Griffin Trust Scholarship is based on academic merit. This is determined through the student’s admission application portfolio and/or academic performance during their first year of study in the Master of Fine Art in Creative Writing program.

• Students are automatically considered for the scholarship upon entering or registering in the relevant Masters program.
• The scholarship includes three prizes of up to CAD 2,000 each, enhancing the financial support for recipients.
