The Graduate Scholarship at Birmingham City University is designed for students pursuing their Master's or PhD degrees. This scholarship supports a wide range of subjects available at the university and is open to students from all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be BCU graduates and enrolling in an eligible full-time or part-time Master's or PhD course for the first time in the 2024/25 or 2025/26 academic years. Both UK, EU, and international self-funded students are eligible, including those receiving a postgraduate student loan.

• Must have completed a BCU undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
• Not available to ERASMUS students or students not enrolling for the first time.

Application Process

Application methods vary depending on your current status:

1. Current BCU Undergraduate Students should apply via the Fast Track option in the student portal.
2. Current BCU Master’s Students aiming for PhD should apply through the PhD course page and follow BCU's application advice.
3. Returning BCU Graduates apply via the course page, with automatic discounts for those who graduated after 2012, and others should email admissions@bcu.ac.uk.
